Sep 28, Kathmandu - Medical practitioner and activist Durga Prasai, who was arrested on Monday, has been taken to hospital for a medical examination, authorities said.

A police team deployed from the Cyber Bureau arrested Prasai. He is expected to be presented before the Kathmandu District Court.

Prasai had recently made a remark targeting Rachana Khadka, a Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker and the mother of a Gen Z protest martyr, saying she had “become an MP by stepping over her son’s body.”

Khadka also raised the matter in Parliament.
