February 27, Kathmandu- The International Mathematical Conference is scheduled to be held from April 9 to 11. An International Mathematics Conference called International Conference on Analysis and Its Applications - 2021 is being organized through online zoom.
The society informed that the International Mathematical Conference is going to be organized for the first time by the Nepal Mathematical Society.
The conference covers 23 disciplines under pure and experimental mathematics. So far, mathematicians and researchers from around 20 countries, including Italy, Morocco, Bangladesh and India, have applied to present their research. The conference aims to involve Nepali mathematicians and researchers.
The conference is expected to play an important role in the research of mathematical genres. Dinesh Panthi informed.
The purpose of the conference is to acquaint Nepali mathematicians with the worldwide study and research in mathematics and to introduce the study and research taking place in the country to the international community. Plenary working papers of five eminent mathematicians are being prepared to be presented at the conference.
25 invited working papers will be submitted. It is said that about 120 research papers will be submitted at home and abroad.
It is estimated that about 250 mathematicians will participate in the conference. At the press conference, Prada Chetraj Bhatta, president of the Mathematical Society, said that the conference would play a leading role in the research of mathematics.
The conference, which was scheduled to be held physically due to Covid 19, was earlier postponed.
So far, the conference has been organized online as it is not conducive for international personalities to attend the conference physically, said the organizing mathematics society.
Dean of Kathmandu University and Chairman of the Conference Scientific Committee Prada Kanhaiya Jha, Executive Director of Tribhuv University School of Mathematical Sciences Pradanarayan Prasad Pahari, Treasurer of the Mathematical Society Ajay Kumar Chaudhary, Central Member of the Mathematical Society Hariprapan Kandel and others gave information about the conference.
