Badal appointed as Attorney General

March 19, Kathmandu- Ramesh Badal has been appointed as the Attorney General. On the recommendation of the government, President Bidyadevi Bhandari has appointed Badal as the Attorney General.

The President's Office has issued a press release on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in accordance with Article 157, Clause 920 of the Constitution of Nepal. Kathmandu Metropolitan City ward No.7 Chabahil resident advocate Badal has been appointed to the post of Attorney General. He will be sworn in on Sunday.

Agni Kharel had resigned from the Attorney General today. As soon as Kharel's resignation was accepted, Badal was recommended as the new Attorney General. Badal is also the vice president of the Nepal Bar Association.
