Corona Crisis In Oman:  Foreign Nationals Has Banned 

April 7, Kathmandu- The Oman government has banned foreign nationals from entering the country as the Corona epidemic escalates. A meeting of the Committee on Prevention, Control, and Treatment of Corona (Kovid-19) virus epidemic in Oman has decided to ban foreign nationals from entering the country, according to the Nepali Embassy.

According to the embassy, ​​the committee has decided to ban the entry of foreign nationals with effect from 12 noon on Thursday. This decision of Oman will also affect Nepali citizens.

Oman nationals and Oman resident cardholders are kept open, the embassy said, citing a high-level committee.

Likewise, the previous decision to keep business activities closed from 8 pm to 5 am with effect from Thursday has been upheld and the ban on movement of people and vehicles at that time has been lifted with effect from April 8.

The embassy said in a statement that it had decided to ban all commercial activities and the movement of vehicles and people from 9 pm to 4 am, with effect from the holy month of Ramadan.

The embassy has requested the Nepali community in Oman to abide by all the rules issued by the government of Oman as it has decided to ban gatherings and gatherings in mosques and other public places, social and cultural programs during Ramadan, sports, and all other collective activities.
