April 11, Kathmandu- A forest fire has broken out in Nagarjun, Northwest of Kathmandu.
DSP Roshan Khadka of Maharajgunj informed that the fire brigade of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Budhanilkantha Municipality, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Forces reached the area on Sunday afternoon to control the fire.
He said that the fire brigade alone could not control the fire so preparations have been made to drop water from helicopter.
