April 17, Kathmandu- Four persons have been identified who died when a bus and a tipper collided near Rohini Khola in Kohalpur Municipality-12 of Banke district.

Among the dead are Uday Batha, 21, of Kohalpur Municipality-12, Khagendra Bahadur Sunar, 25, of Kohalpur Municipality-3, Jeevan Kumar BK, 41, of Satakhani-7, Surkhet and Chhatra Bahadur Katuwal, 45, of Mechinagar Municipality-10, Jhapa.

Another woman is yet to be identified, according to the District Police Office, Banke.

Five persons were killed when a bus (Me 1 Kha 3347) heading to Dharan from Surkhet collided with a tipper coming from the opposite direction on Friday evening.

According to police, 38 people have been injured in the accident. The condition of seven of the injured is critical.
