Examination of the customs agent will be held on May 5

April 19, Kathmandu - The government is appointing 660 customs agents at a same time. The written test of the candidates who have applied for the post is scheduled for May 5. The Department of customs is about to add a customs agent for the first time in two decades. According to the department of customs, the written examination will be held on May 5 at 1 pm.

According to the department, the examinees must comply with the health care standards set by the Government of Nepal. Customs agents are not allowed to work without a license from the department. Customs agents work to facilitate the work of exporters and importers. Those who pass the written test and interview will get the license within 90 days of the publication of the results after depositing Rs 7,000 for the license fee and Rs 700,000 for the bail.
