PSP-N Has Suspended Leaders

April 19, Kathmandu-  People Socialist Party has suspended four leaders who were sworn in as ministers in Lumbini province and demanded a 24-hour explanation.

Ashok Kumar Yadav, chairman of the Lumbini provincial committee of the party, issued a statement on Monday seeking clarification from Vijay Bahadur Yadav, Santosh Pandey, Suman Sharma Rayamajhi, and Kalpana Pandey Lamsal, who were sworn in as ministers.

He also said that the legal process would be followed to take action against those who resigned from the government and did not give a satisfactory explanation. On Monday, Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, and PSP MPs had filed a no-confidence motion against the Lumbini state government.
