April 23, Kathmandu- Flim Sector journalist Prakash Subedi has aired a program suspended by AP1 Television on YouTube.

Actress Shilpa Pokhrel and producer Chhabi Ojha had lodged a complaint on AP1Television alleging that the program on the issue of divorce was defamatory. The television had suspended the program after the complaint.

Subedi has given an explanation by airing the program on a YouTube channel called Rajatpat TV. During the 16-and-a-half-minute program, Subedi revealed the reasons and details of the suspension.

The program was aired on April 9 and a complaint was lodged on April 13. After that, Shilpa was called to the program and asked to seek clarification, said Subedi. After that, Subedi was informed that a decision would be taken on April 18.

Meanwhile, on April 15, he aired an interview with Chhabi Ojha in Glamor Gossip. Another episode of Rajatpat was set to air on Friday. But after airing a program featuring the image as a guest, Epivan Television sent a notice suspending the program.

Stating that there was a difference of understanding between them, Subedi said that the director of operations of the television Suresh Poudel and the news chief Tikaram Yatri were aware of the guests of the program.

Earlier, actress Pooja Sharma had filed a case against the show. At that time, an understanding was reached. Now, Epiwan Television has suspended the program. The channel has not said how long the program will be suspended.
