Nepse Decreased By 12.47 Points

May 6, Kathmandu-Nepse has also declined on the last trading day of the year. Nepse, which had declined by 5.9 points on the previous day, fell by 12.47 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the year, and reached 2627.13 points.

Similarly, the Sensitive Index also declined by zero points 77 to 473.4 points. A total of 1,891,453 shares of 216 companies were traded in 80,141 transactions at Nepse today with a total turnover of Rs 6.81 billion.

Of the 13 groups traded today, the indices of three groups have increased and the indices of the remaining groups have decreased. Among them, the index of commercial bank group increased by 7.11 points to reach 1778.71 points while the index of finance and investment group also increased.

The index of the Development Bank Group decreased by 13.85 points to 281.21 points while the index of Life Insurance Group also decreased by 239.33 points to 17,110.64 points.

Apart from this, the indices of non-life insurance, trading, hotel and tourism, manufacturing, other, microfinance, and collective investment fund groups have also declined.

The share price of Khanikhola Hydro Power Company has risen by 10 percent to Rs 165 per share while the share price of Vishal Bazaar Company has decreased by 10 percent to Rs 6,716 per share.

Similarly, shares of Hydro Electricity Investment Company were traded at a final price of Rs 524 per share, amounting to Rs 467.24 million. This is the largest turnover of any company today.
