When Decision Of Federal And Local Government Is Different, Teacher  Are In Problem

May 6, Kathmandu-The government has decided to close all schools across the country on April 26 until further notice, saying the coronavirus infection is on the rise and is getting out of control. As per the recommendation of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC), the cabinet meeting has directed all schools across the country to close their physical presence and teach through alternative means until further notice. But some local levels have been ignoring the federal government's directives and making favorable decisions.

According to the headmasters, some local levels have been calling the headmasters who have been teaching through alternative means by stopping their physical presence in the schools as per the instructions of the government. The head of the municipality, who is in a more remote area than the urban area, complained that he had repeatedly called them and instructed them to attend compulsory schools. The federal government instructs that local schools should be closed, but students in remote areas are deprived of alternative learning. No government has been able to think about this.

The Thermal Municipality of Kavre has instructed not to make the physical presence of students in the school for seven days from today but to run the school administration on a daily basis.

All the schools in the village municipality have been instructed to fully prepare the annual examination of the students through various alternative means by adopting the health-related criteria.

Also, a public notice has been issued informing that the teacher himself should be fully responsible for any disease including covid positive if he goes to other districts outside Temal against the instructions of the village municipality.

Administrative Officer Laxman Kuikel informed that the municipality has decided to take action against the teachers and staff who do not follow their instructions.
