Oli Government Might Get Overthrown

May 8, Kathmandu- Within the People Socialist Party, the majority is in favour of overthrowing the KP Oli-led government. According to PSP sources, Upendra Yadav, who led the line that Oli should not be given a vote of confidence, has reached a majority. Rajendra Mahato, who has been actively supporting Mahanta Thakur lately, has also started discussions with Yadav.

Leader Manish Suman said that Mahato and Yadav were meeting. "The lack of communication with Mr Upendra is over. A dialogue has started between Upendraji and Mahato,” said Suman, who is close to Mahato. According to JSP sources, Mahato has not signed the signature campaign started by Thakur. Thakur has been close to Prime Minister Oli lately. He also agreed with Oli not to join the anti-government coalition. According to JSP sources, only 12 former Rajpa MPs have signed Thakur's signature collection campaign. Former Rajapaksa Mahato, Sharat Singh Bhandari and Nirjala Raut have not signed.

Former Rajpa Chairman Mahendra Yadav has already sided with Upendra Yadav. Similarly, former Rajapaksa Mahato, Mrigendra Singh Yadav and Suman, who are in the 51-member JSP executive committee, have not signed. Mahendra Yadav, Gajadhar Yadav and Ramesh Yadav, three members of the executive committee of the former Rajpa, have already changed their lot and joined Upendra Yadav. Suman said that he did not sign the signature campaign started by Thakur's party.
