Congress Parliamentary Party Meeting Being Held

May 8, Kathmandu- The Nepali Congress, the main opposition party, has convened a meeting of the parliamentary parties today to discuss the party's preparations and current political issues in the House of Representatives.

According to the office of the parliamentary party, the meeting will be held at 2 pm at Lhotse Hall, Federal Parliament Building, Baneshwor to decide the party's strategy for the upcoming meeting of the House of Representatives.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is preparing to take a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on May 10.

A meeting of Congress officials and former office-bearers on Tuesday decided to thwart Prime Minister Oli's vote of confidence. It is said that the decision of the party will be discussed in the meeting of the parliamentary parties and the chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba will also inform about the recent meetings with the leaders of various political parties.

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has called a session of the House of Representatives on May 10 for the same purpose as the Prime Minister, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, has deemed it necessary to clarify that the House of Representatives has faith in her.
