May 8, Kathmandu- One person has died in a Bolero jeep accident at Besighat in Beltar of Raksirang Rural Municipality-1 in the western part of Makwanpur last night. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Dinesh Syangtan, said Jayeshwar Rimal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makwanpur.

According to him, the jeep (Na 15 Cha 3920) heading towards Hetauda from Besighat fell about 150 meters from the road and died on the spot.

Five others, including the jeep driver, were injured in the accident. The injured have been identified as Dipendra Lho, 25, Manju Lho, 18, Amrit Dong, 16, Aakriti Moktan, 23, and Dorje Gongwa, 17, of Manhari Gaonpalika Ward No. 7. The injured are undergoing treatment at Hetauda Chure Hill Hospital, according to the District Police Office, Makwanpur.
