Kedar Shrestha's 'Junu ko Jutta' won international award

May 8, Kathmandu - The short film 'Junu ko Jutta' directed by Kedar Shrestha has won another international award. Won the award for Best Short Film at Russia's Fest Pro Film Festival. Russia's The Final Stand won Best Feature Film, Chile's The Boy and the Mountain won Best Animated Film and Germany's Tales of Light won Best Children's Film.

The film is about the story of a (5-years-old) girl named Junu and is set in Junbesi village of the solukhumbu district of Nepal. As,the movie begins,the child is unable to identify her left and right shoes.Later,she herself innoviates a unique method to recognise them.
