Home protection process of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor started in Pakistan

May 8, Kathmandu - Pakistan's provincial government has begun a formal process to preserve the ancestral home of Bollywood stars Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor. Conservation has been started to convert the residences of the two artists into museums. The existing owners of these historic buildings have been requested to vacate by May 18, giving final notice. The government is trying to evacuate the people living in the building by paying a reasonable amount of money.

Raj Kapoor’s ancestral home is known as Kapoor Haveli.It is situated in fabled Qissa Khwani Bazar.It was built between 1918 and 1922 by the legendary actor’s grandfather Dewan Basheswarnath Kapoor.
