May 8,kathmandu -  The number of deaths due to corona virus has also increased along with the recent rapid increase in corona virus infection in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and population,53 people have died from corona in the last 24 hours alone.

In the last 24 hours, 8,418 corona infections have been reported across the country. According to the ministry, the infection was confirmed in 8,287 people through PCR test and in 131 people through antigen test.

Similarly, PCR of 17,315 people and antigen of 989 people were tested in the last 24 hours.
