May 8,kathmandu -  In the last 24 hours, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 8418 more people across the country. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 53 people have died.Earlier on Friday, 9,196 people were confirmed infected in Nepal and 50 people lost their lives.

According to the ministry on Saturday, 17,315 people tested positive for PCR and 989 tested positive for antigen, and 8,287 and 131 people were infected, respectively. At the same time, the total number of corona sufferers across the country has reached 385,890, the number of those who have recovered has reached 298,765 and the total number of deaths has reached 3632.

Till today, 83 thousand 493 people have been actively infected across the country.
